Janet Grunwald is the most recent addition to The Sofa Kings.
She is a native of Long Island who happily transplanted to the Valley at the dawn of the New Millenium. She has spent 14 years singing with rock/pop cover band "Shindig" in New York. Since moving to Northampton, she has played eclectically acoustic (or is that acoustically eclectic?) local gigs with "JD and the Harmony Horde." Janet is a high school English teacher by day. She has a long history of writing poetry strictly for educational purposes, but she is thinking of diving into the lyric pool one of these days.
